Norman M. Golden, EA – San Mateo Income Tax Firm |
Our Services
Our firm isn’t just another tax preparation and representation firm. We are proud to be Enrolled Agents (EAs), a prestigious designation from the Internal Revenue Service. An Enrolled Agent (EA) is a federally-authorized tax practitioner who has technical expertise in the field of taxation. The EA license allows us to represent clients at any and all levels of the Internal Revenue Service. The EA license is generally earned by passing a comprehensive examination and passing a thorough background check. U.S. Treasury regulations require all Enrolled Agent to maintain their license by taking 72 hours of continuing education with at least 2 hours per year of ethics in their 3-year renewal cycle. Furthermore, as members of the California Society of Enrolled Agents and the National Association of Enrolled Agents, we adhere to an even higher continuing education requirement of 30 hours per year.
Enrolled Agents are required to abide by regulations established by the Department of Treasury, which provides rules of conduct and a code of ethics that Enrolled Agents are bound by. That’s why EAs are considered a cut above the rest.
The professional staff of Norman M. Golden, EA are Enrolled Agents. By selecting our firm to handle your taxes, you are assured a superior level of taxation expertise – so you can be confident of thorough, insightful service and uncommon professionalism that makes a real difference.
